Today, the Mourne Check is meticulously woven from a blend of durable linen and wool yarns, combining strength with a striking visual appeal. Its distinct check pattern is a testament to timeless design, offering a sophisticated touch to any interior while celebrating the enduring legacy of Mourne Textiles.

The Tollymore Mourne Check cushion draws its vibrant inspiration from the rich, natural beauty of Tollymore Forest, nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. The bright green wool yarn evokes the lush, sunlit canopy of trees and the vivid mosses that carpet the forest floor, infusing the design with a sense of vitality and life. 

Contrasted by stark black linen, which mirrors the shadowy outlines of ancient tree trunks and the deep forest undergrowth, the interplay of these colours creates a striking checkerboard pattern reminiscent of light filtering through the woodland.
