We’re delighted to reintroduce the Stream fabric into our collection — a heritage design originally developed by Mourne Textiles founder, Gerd Hay-Edie. Carefully revived by our weavers, every detail stays true to Gerd’s original vision, reflecting our continued dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and timeless design.

The Mourne Stream Mustard Placemats are infused with the warm, golden tones of a summer landscape. Drawing inspiration from the rolling fields and open skies surrounding our mill, the design captures the feeling of early morning light brushing across meadows and gently undulating hills. The rich yellow wool brings a sunlit energy to the weave, balanced by a grounding neutral that recalls the colour of dry earth or weathered stone.

Woven from a durable blend of wool and linen, the fabric features a softly striped pattern that creates gentle movement across the surface — like the ripples of a breeze through tall grass. The contrast between the golden and muted tones feels both natural and contemporary, making these placemats a versatile addition to any dining setting.
