At the heart of our family-owned business, we draw inspiration from our rich weaving heritage to create beautiful, handcrafted textiles. Nestled in the Mourne Mountains of Northern Ireland, we are proud to support local craftsmanship and celebrate the opening of our new Mourne Weavers mill in Warrenpoint, just a stone’s throw from the Mourne Textiles workshop in Rostrevor.

The new mill marks the perfect fusion of heritage designs, impeccable craftsmanship, and advanced industrial weaving techniques. Our debut collection is a tribute to the pioneering spirit of Gerd Hay-Edie, the visionary founder of Mourne Textiles, whose signature fabrics adorned mid-century works by design legends such as Robin Day, Terence Conran, and Max Clendinning. We have since revived many more of Gerd’s renowned designs, some with a modern twist, capturing the essence of her timeless style while bringing them into the present.

Woven with love on our vintage power looms, we bring Gerd’s cherished designs back to life, using a carefully selected range of natural fibres. Our textiles are crafted from the finest wool from Donegal, alongside durable cottons and linens, chosen not only for their softness and warmth but for their strength and longevity. Available in a timeless colour palette, these fabrics reflect the beauty of nature, blending earthy tones with versatile shades designed to stand the test of time.
