Offcut Lengths

Expertly woven from 100% Merino wool, Mourne Tweed fabric offers exceptional softness and warmth. Its natural insulating properties provide comfort without excessive weight, making it both practical and luxurious.

First created in 1964, this iconic fabric was originally known as the Irish Bedspread and was used in prominent Irish hotels. It was also featured in Hille’s furniture collection in the late 1960s, a testament to its timeless appeal.

Today, the Mourne Tweed fabric is faithfully reproduced using custom-spun yarns from Donegal, staying true to the original colourways. Steeped in heritage and crafted with care, it embodies the perfect blend of tradition and quality.

Experience the enchanting hues of nature with the Jade Mourne Tweed fabric. An earthy brown yarn, rich with flecks of various browns and greys, captures the essence of the rich soil and weathered stones of the Mourne landscape.

A vibrant jade tone emerges from a luxurious green-teal yarn, intricately woven with bright green and emerald flecks, evoking the lush foliage of the Mourne Mountains in springtime. The interplay of earthy tones and vivid greens creates a harmonious balance, reminiscent of sunlight filtering through verdant leaves and casting a serene glow.

These shorter lengths are ideal for smaller creative projects such as homeware or upholstery. To keep costs down, the fabric will be sent folded in sustainable packaging.
