Developed in the early 1970's by Karen and Gerd Hay-Edie, this versatile tweed was designed so that it can be woven loosely and used as curtain fabric or more tightly, resulting in a firmer fabric suitable for furnishing. Within the fabric a variety of different yarn weights are combined to weave a textured furnishing fabric echoing the tonal mix found in the landscape surrounding the workshop.
